Most of them are no different than most of the pop on radio these days. Having a country accent or having a live instrument in a song doesn't separate it from pop.

Florida Georgia Line really? Lady Antebellum? Luke Bryan? These are weak examples.
In this case, they're all straddling a pop/country line.
But almost all other country artists aren't following this formula.
Tim McGraw, Martina, that Kipp guy, Toby Keith, Brad Paisley, Keith Urban, Blake Shelton ect ect.
They're all making country music.
