The formula for the Canadian Hot 100 hasn't changed in ages
When a song goes #1 on iTunes there, it's usually #1 on their Hot 100 in the following week, and that's rare for the US (unless you're selling a hell of a lot), and I don't think they take streaming into account for their formula yet.
