I just realised they both have something the other needs cuz Jessica has the celebrity status but she just needs the right songs & producers around her like Timbaland & Pharell who Ashlee worked with.Ashlee has the right songs but she's not really that exciting and wont get as much attention as Jessica.

Jessica only needs to do a serious album to delete that "stupid blonde chick" image away from her. And that's it. Ashlee however needs to **** off.

Jessica will never be as talented as Ashlee. Jessica is basically a one hit wonder. She has been for like 10 years in the business and has only one memorable song which is "Irresistible".  while Ashlee already has Pop classics in her catalogue. Too bad she arrived in a time where Pop is no longer dominating.

I guess 50,000 albums isn't bad considering it looked like it was barely going to hit 25,000 earlier. But it's still a major disappointment. Bad album with bad promotion. There are only like 2 songs that are any good on it.

Yeah, the new Ashlee album sounds a lot better than anything else she's done before. I don't see the big deal about the sales. It's still a good album, especially "Little Miss Obsessive". Music fans would generally just rather purchase Soulja Boy and Daughtry, or Akon, anything that sounds like piss in audio form.

I bought 'Autobiography' because the melodies were strong and it was definitely a feel-good album for the summer of '04. I liked her voice at first because it had a Courtney Love-ish sort of rasp. The only song I liked from 'I Am Me' was 'L.O.V.E.' and there were wasn't much else beyond that. This new album seems like a bit of an improvement, but not much. Her lyrics are still insipid, and her voice is just annoying now.
