My brother's girlfriend went to school with Ellie Goulding and lived up in Hereford with her for a while, they're kinda close and stay in contact.
And 'James McVey' of that new 1D boy band The Vamps went to a school in my area and he's friends with people I know and performed at my friend's birthday party once like 3 years ago. But he was so different before The Vamps, like he was an acoustic singer and stuff
EDIT: And OH, my friend's uncle is Christian Bale and there's always loads of local drama with them in the papers, I was at her house recently and it was messy.
I have nothing like this. The closest is the Britain's Got Talent finalist Kieran Gaffney (a young drummer) who lives near me and I've seen him walking around town a few times. I have him on facebook too but he's kinda annoying.
I'm friends with and the "official support" for singer/songwriter Sharron Levy, who made it to the semi finals in the German version of the TV show "The Voice". She was born in Israel, moved to England with her mom and her brother when she was 9 and lived there in several cities, was the front woman of the rock band "Captive Audio", that was actually pretty successful in England. She moved to Salzburg, Austria in 2010 She studied music production, played in several bands, was busking in the London underground stations, she plays guitar, drums and piano, writes all her songs herself and sings of course. I help her whenever I can and do sometimes some kind of "personal assistant" work for her, like writing emails, helping her with translations from German to English or from English to German (although her German has improved A LOT and is pretty amazing for someone who has lived in Austria, a German speaking country, for only 3 and a half years). We text and email almost every day, and when she's in Germany we talk on the phone, and I'm also a mod on her official facebook page. I always get guest list spots at her gigs, she always takes me backstage and we hang out together a lot
