Demi's albums have all sold from 490-530k consistently (excluding DEMI, cause that's still selling), whilst Selena started off with a 900k album & her most recent one has sold 350k+ with the biggest hit of her career as a lead single. Not to mention the fact that Demi doesn't need promo to successfully launch a lead single, whilst Selena can't even reach top ten on iTunes within the first few days of release. It just goes to show that Demi has a big enough following to keep her relevant for quite some time.
Although, since Demi doesn't act anymore, Selena will obviously outlast her in that aspect of her career
Demi. Basically, she's been building up her career on the past years and is on a rising slope. Every after an era, her status gets higher than the previous. On the other hand, Selena has been falling since her debut, take her album sales for example. Her career rather stands on hype. I stan for both artists, I'm just speaking the truth.
