While I use both songs, why didn't Come & Get It outsell We Can't Stop even though you can clearly see in the thread above that all the prophets of the world went into one thread and forseen the GP being over Miley since her last era flopped and being here for Selena.
Come & Get It had roughly double We Can't Stop's airplay, more performances and not to mention a classy music video.
By the time Miley had performed at the VMA's WCS was 2 months old and had already peaked in airplay and on the Billboard Hot 100 (for those of you that were gonna use that excuse)
Because people loved the song in the teen demographic, Come & Get It is a great pop song, but WCS is like a party anthem, and usually anthems like that will outdo pop songs
