Yes. From what I can remember, the last time I was whipped was when I threw a fit in a Payless store at a mall. Good times. I would've whipped me too. To answer your other question, yes I believe it has made me a better person.
Yes! She would even make me go outside and pick my on switch, sometimes if I did something really bad she would whoop me with belts or an extension cord.

Yep. Had to go pick my own switch wether we were at home or out in public. Wooden spoons, fly swatters, the hand and the dreaded snap of the belt before you got whipped with it. I used to stick a pillow in the back of my pants before my mom got to me and run so fast with my pelvis sticking out.
I think that's why they decided to go easy on us.
