only single people say it's better being single than in a relationship. it's ok for a little while but loneliness always shows up and snatches you bald
Well it all depends on your own state of mind and whether you like commitment or not.
For example, I'm currently in a relationship (after over a year of being single!) and I'm very happy. But when I was single for that period I felt very lonely. I guess it's because I like the whole concept of commitment.
However, I have friends who will sleep around/date several people at once and they say they love the freedom of casual relationships and being single because you're not chained down. It all stems down to who you are as a person and what you want (relationship wise) out of life.
