its sounding a tad generic/boring but in full and multiple listens that it could be good. kinda like the feeling i had with demi's demi album. we'll see
Cannonball - Deserved flop
On My Way - High School Musical much?
Burn with You - Her vocals sound a bit odd, but the tune is interesting
Battlefield - Boring
You’re Mine - It feels like a 4-word song
Thousand Needles - It’s loud
Louder - Feels very Disney
Cue the Rain - Ooh, very interesting preview
Don’t Let Go - We already have Let it Go and Let Her on the charts...some potential depending on chorus
Empty Handed - I really like how her vocals sound, amid the ethereal background
If You Say So - Boring arrangement and vocals so far
What is Love - Dull beginning but gets better, the only full song we’ve heard that I like (though not love)
Seems that the later part of the album is superior esp Cue the Rain and Empty Handed. But the previews could be misleading.
Don't forget we also have the tracks from the Deluxe version, for which we haven't got any previews yet. Ugh, Cue The Rain is EXACTLY the kind of the cheesy pop songs I love, giving me 2004 teas
So excited for the album to come out, I love her so much. I'm gonna buy it asap.
ON MY WAY I'M LEGIT WEEPING
Burn With You Amazing
Thousand Needles sounds nice
Cue the Rain is very cuteeeee
Don't Let Go
Empty Handed sounds decent, but I'm not impressed (yet)
If You Say So *swings back and forth* Sounds great.
So this album is gonna slay, as expected. Naysayers can exit.
Most of the structure/production sound pretty safe, but good! "On My Way" sounds like a bop, I am surprised she put a more dance-leaning song on this album. And I also am excited for "Burn With You", "Cue the Rain" and "Don't Let Go". Sounds like she's using other vocal styles as well, which I love.
Everything sounds so good. I need someone to explain to me why they thought Cannonball should have been the lead single.
MTE. The only reason I think they thought it would be a good idea was because of the Sia co-write and maybe the lyrical content post-Cory, but they really should have considered something else.
