Shouldn't Bangerz be considered a Flop like Artpop?
After all of the press she has received, two hit singles, and two MTV specials, Bangerz still hasn't sold one million copies in the US. Why doesn't she get the same type of negative comments that Gaga receives?
Because despite her year, she's still bouncing back from her last album which failed to reach gold meanwhile Gaga her last album sold 1 million in its first week, but struggling now. Bangerz isn't struggling imo because its selling more than Gaga's every week and has only been out 4 months. Controversy doesn't necessarily turn into album sales nor does people buying your singles
There's literally a thread about this every week, but I see no one saying anything about Rihanna her last album ultimately selling 1 million (bangerz will probably outsell it in less time) after all of its success and it being out for an entire year
A former Disney girl shouldn't be compared to an A+-lister like Gaga. I can't believe I'm actually defending either of them right now, but Miley is doing quite well considering she still isn't considered a main pop girl by the GP.
It sold 200k more in the US than ARTPOP did and that after coming from 3 years break and an album that sold 350k in the US, not to mention that at this moment it is still in the top 10 on US itunes, as in it's still selling strongly, while ARTPOP on the other hand...
