Nicki Minaj’s New Album Will Not Have A Release Date

She also revealed that she, Drake and the entire YMCMB camp are in a “great space” as they prep for the release of their group collaborative Rise of an Empire, due out March 11. But as far as The Pink Print, her upcoming album, is concerned, the Queens rapper told Angie Martinez that fans will not see it coming.
“The Pink Print is not gonna have a release date. You’ll never know when it’s coming until it just comes,” said Nicki.

Nicki's actually not doing that. What she meant was, and she clarified in the video, that she was going to release once she finished the album and had the chance to sit with it.
Lil' Wayne, on the other hand, may actually be surprise releasing. Who knows?
She isn't planning a date for her album becasue she wants to feel that she has time to actually finish it and polish it until it's perfect. She is not going to drop it just like it. She will give us a date when it's actually about to happen, but not yet.
