I bought a pair of chuck taylor converse in 7th grade and everybody called me a poser. I was so ashamed.
ki what really is hard to watch is people that wear chuck taylors NOW, IN 2014, IN FRESHMAN YEAR OF COLLEGE? i literally just have to shield my eyes. it's so tragic.
I think a little bit of bullying and teasing is good and even necessary. It builds character and prepares kids for the future. But not excessive, everyone-ganging-up-on-one-person bullying. Plus it's always dangerous to push weak people to the limit, not just because they might hurt themselves but also because they might hurt their bullies.

When is it okay to fight back? It's a simple question. It's like you all are trying to say a person shouldn't ever defend themselves if they're getting picked on. Sorry, it's never worked like that in the real world.

Nah, it's actually kind of ignorant to think that physical violence is going to solve any of your problems.
Granted you have an older sibling that gets the job done, it might work, but it's not really the best way
to solve your problems. It's not really a "cliche", the real "cliche" is "beating someone up" to feel better
