No, the research team actually clarified this:

So here they're using the term "environmental" to refer to all other factors besides the DNA evidence they were researching. They're not saying that the environment itself is specifically responsible for homosexuality, hence why the subjects of their tests were groups of twins.

I don't know what you're trying to get at here. By you saying this aren't you just saying that genetiv factors plays LESS of a role in the determination of whether we are gay or not? I don't know studies of identical twins on being gay but from what I learned that it tends to show identical twins are more likely to both be gay if that were to happen then siblings who are not.

Everyone should be able to do whatever the hell they want as long as it doesn't interfere with someone else's freedom and rights as a human being. Why can't someone choose to be gay? (I know that's not what it happens realistically, but in theory it can happen and shouldn't be seen as a odd situation at all).

Also, this ''coming out'' thing we apparently have to go through is plain ridiculous and shouldn't even be a thing.

No you're correct. When it comes to identical twins, and we assume for a second that environment plays no role in determining sexuality, then we must assume that even identical twins have slight variances in their genetic makeup.
