Actually, Polygon gave The Last of Us a lower score. A 75 in fact. The rise.

Funny thing about Polygon is that they gave TLOU a 75 then rated it as the 4th best game of 2013 in their year-end list.

It's downloadable content, not a full game. Of course it's not going to be as high as the original, this is like a small side dish.

Usually, DLC (more specifically the first major one) improves on the game itself. This is a biT of a decline.

It's not an add-on, it's a standalone dlc so it's not like it's contributing anything to the original game. So your logic is wrong
