Had it yesterday, I was in class and a friend of mine needed a new pic for his twitter. So while i was taking the pic for him a girl walked by 'ew he's so gay, looks he s taking pics of him'.
Some people even find i gay that i have 1 best friend that im always with.
And just some other small things like, having a lil bound in your walk. Talking nasal, even when you have a cold.
Its really stupid. Even expressing happiness might Make people call you gay

Sorry didnt mean to disrespect anyone.
but like i said if you dont overexpose it or act girly no one will even know you re gay. So there wont be any problems. And proud of your sexuality? How is that something to be proud of? As i say im proud to be hetero youd call me a homophobe
|
ddd Ok, see english isn't your first language, so I can see how what you're trying to say isn't coming across how you think it is. I get what you're saying though because otherwise woo lordT.
That isn't the fault of gay people though, it's the fault of homophobes. People are different, some people can be naturally flamboyant whether or not they're gay. People shouldn't have to feel like they need to act more 'straight' so that people wont know that they're gay.

I messed up
I never ment to say its the gay people's fault society is like this.
I hate it when people use the word gay to insult someone. Being gay isnt something weird, we see it in nature. Gay animals exist, so why do some people think its weird for human to be gay.
I hate the fact that people have to go trough coming outs and I feel bad for them. I helped a friend with his coming out because I realize how awful it has to be to not be able to love who you want or expres the way you feel.
I feel like no one should need to have a coming out. I want parents to learn kids its normal to love someone of the same gender. It sould be normal for us to love someone of the same gender without having to explain or feel bad or sory anything.
Those examples i gave of the pictures, walking, talking and is I hate it when people call you gay because of these things. I dont think being gay is a bad thing so I dont care when people think im gay.
Again sorry if someone feels offended by anything i said.

like....
on instagram a lot of gays use the hashtag #gay #instagay #gayborhood
the ****? what is the reason for that? do straights hashtag their pics with #straight #instastraight etc?
its just stupid to me, thats part of the reason the LGBT community is distant, yall categorize ya own damn self and keep making it worse.

I think it's really stupid too, but it's only the fruity ones that see the need to do that

Honestly the whole gay or straight thing is stupid. Let people just love and be who they want to be.
Im straight but in my opinion being gay is a normal thing and everyone should act like its normal. But that will never happen if gays keep the stereotypes alive, like 'gays love lady gaga' and the #instagay thing like you mentioned. Just act like its normal, no need to overexpose your sexuality. A sexuality doesnt necessarily come with a lifestyle.

it's so hard out here for a straight

Anyone who fears being perceived as gay is homophobic, or gay themselves and scared of exposure. That's how I see it.

No because we'll always be a minority.
I use the hashtags so fellow gays can find my pics, like, follow and all that stuff, not because I wanna put myself into a box.

Just a little FYI gays have had an unfortunate history because of many straight people and to this day many gay people still live in hard conditions due to deluded homophobic straight people. Some gay people don't kill other gay people for being gay, it's actually some straight people that do that! And even when a straight person says thinks alike "no homo", "that's so gay" (which are things commonly said in western society) they normalize homophobic slurs and marginalize gay people.
I see your point with the whole overexposing your sexuality thing but just remember that some people are taking pride in their sexuality after all the undeserved **** they've been through for being gay.

And everything changed when the gay people attacked.
To answer the question. No. Not in our lifetimes anyways.

I see those hashtags all of the time, and it honestly annoys me. Embarrassing tbh.
And i was just thinking about this topic a few days ago. Like why should I need to tell my parents that im gay? I mean i already have, but whateva.
Like straight people dont say to their parents that they're straight. Its because they're expected to be. Our society as a whole is like this, you're expected to be this type of person, and if you're not you're looked down upon.

Omg, this is so much truth!
I absolutely hate when people refer to gay people as having a different "lifestyle." Recently, a nice kid on Facebook defended the gay community and used the word "lifestyle." While he had good intentions, it still got on my nerves. As if I live totally differently from him because I'm attracted to men. It's too much. Even if I like men, how does that change other aspects of my life, such as my love of music, my addiction for video games, or my typical part time job? It's a joke when people refer to gays as having a "different lifestyle" than straights.
