They've acquired the rights to Football for Thursdays. My guess is that it'll go head to head with The Voice from 8 pm, and be used to launch new sitcom How I Met Your Father.

Very bad news for NBC and The Voice. Ratings had already gone down season 5 from season 4 and two cycles a year is already having the Dancing With The Stars effect.

I love TBBT but I never actually watch a season in progress, just reruns. Its been on so long but just keeps getting bigger. Slaayy. I dont think this will matter.

Yea. They're too big to care and by the time they switch back tonThursdays, I'm sure they're hoping they would've already successfully launched their new shows.They need to fix Mondays and this may be the solution

I guess it's alright. My tv lineup is already heavy on Thursday nights but since HIMYM is ending this season, my Mondays night lineup has loosened up a little.

TBBT is going to move back to Thursday after the Football season. It's kinda messy but I guess they like Thursday for the show. So, like in November?

I think the Voice will be fine too, it's one of NBC's biggest shows even if TBBT does take some of the audience.

I think they should just leave it on Thursdays and maybe just start the season late and just continue air new episodes in December & January. I don't want it paired with The Voice.

They need to take longer breaks between seasons. Just do it in the fall and not do another season starting in February - I think people are just getting sick of it and I'm sort of headed in that direction as well.
