Out of the three books, which is your fave?

Catching Fire is my favorite. Because there is so much going on in the arena

I actually loved Mockingjay, except for the last 30 pages. I found the ending rushed, but apart from that, it was defs my favourite book. But I loved the other two as well

Toss up between Catching Fire and Mockingjay. The original is what it is, but I enjoy the faster pace of the sequels.

I don't understand how you choose a favourite book out of a trilogy that are meant to go hand-in-hand and work towards the development of a story.

Anyways from what I remember reading it, the first book is the best and it drops from there tbqh.

Catching Fire because the whole reaping of the victors twist, threat of Snow, emergence of the rebellion and the intrigue in the arena - it's flawless! I hate Mockingjay and I HATE the ending. Honestly the entire series is butchered in the last few pages.

Hunger Games: 10/10 - brilliant and original

Catching Fire: 7/10 - well written, but essentially a rehash of the first book with new character fodder

Mockingjay: 0/10 - unsatisfying ending, climax happens offscreen (while she's unconscious), Katniss goes from bad bitch to whiny bitch, Peeta becomes intolerable, horrendously cheesy epilogue, non-epic deaths (I'm all for killing off characters, but make it an EVENT)... all in all just an awful book.

I haven't read Mockingjay yet but Catching Fire was so much better than Hunger Games which was already good.

Mockingjay BY FAR.
It truly is a masterpiece, but basics can't deal with the unsatisfying ending, so It's extremely hated by the GP.

For me it's:
Mockingjay >>> The Hunger Games > Catching Fire

Seriously? That's like telling people they can't have a favourite Harry Potter book or a favourite Lord of the Rings book Yeah they're a trilogy and they all lead up to one final climactic point but at the end of the day they were still released as 3 separate books with 3 different plots and are designed to be consumed that way.

2 > 1 > 3 though they're all great.

Catching Fire is def the best one. I thought I was the only one who prefers it to the other 2, but the poll results

i think i like Catching Fire more. I love Mockingjay, it's just really slow and doesn't go anywhere for a majority of the book.

Definitely Catching Fire, I couldn't put down the book unlike Mockingjay which I finished in literally two months I haven't even read the first one because I've seen the movie first.

2nd > 1st > 3rd
