How the **** do you do it ??? ive been trying forever now and its driving me crazy

assuming you're talking about iOS

you can use the last fm app and listen to your music in there

or if you're jailbroken like me, just install scrobbl and play your music normally

If you download the official app and keep it open any music you listen to will be scrobbled.

The app sucks don't use it. Download Lagu, is a mirror of the iTunes music player, and it you can set up last fm scrobs easily, it even records your scrobs when you are offline.

ive never been able to listen to anything off the app

i don't want to put 10,00 songs on my phone and have my battery last less than 6 hours

grooveshark. it works great on a desktop but for some reason doesn't record scrobbles on mobile even if im logged in. its so frustrating

I just sync my iphone and the plays will be scrobbled.

What's wrong with the app? It also saves offline scrobbles, as well as plenty of great features like an integrated radio, automatic mood/genre playlists, access to the last.fm site and you can use the music app to navigate and scrobbles will still be recorded.

Hmm, I've never used Grooveshark on mobile. To my knowledge there aren't any apps in the market right now that will scrobble music streamed from another app/Safari. Spotify, Beats and others all have the last.fm export feature integrated directly into them.

A quick Google search leads me to believe that there are currently no ways to scrobble on mobile. It seems like a lot of people are unable to do it and have been left without a solution. You could always try Spotify.

Spotify is free if you're willing to deal with the occasional advertisement.

Yeah, there's a section of the app where you put in your last.fm information and it'll start scrobbling. Making a Spotify account is easy, quick and worth it. TONS of music and features.

Basically. I don't have any use for the phone app because the plays are scrobbled when I sync my phone anyway.
