After over around 20/30 times of listening the album, my singles choices are:
'Migrate' and 'Side Effects' NEED to be released as singles.
'Im That Chick' NEEDS to be released in Europe as soon as posible and probably as the last single on the U.S.
If there's gonna be another ballad as a single, that mostly like it will, it should be 'For The Record'.
"I Stay In Love" sounds very much if not EXACTLY like "WBT". The running on 1st verse, the little speed up part, then a regular end. Then the chorus is mid-long. Second verse starts off normal, then the music drops at "Hey all I wanna do is ride shot gun next to you", which resembles the song references lines in "WBT" when the music drops. Then finally the 2nd verse ends. A chorus repeat, lack of bridge, then the final repeat of the chorus with Mariah getting beautifully wild in the background, and then fading out with her holding a note.
I'm sorry but "WBT" is amazing, and I know it THAT well.
NO. Maybe lyrics-wise. The first verse in "Bye Bye" and the whole song structure is IDENTICAL to DFAU. It's ridiculous how she totally lost her originality with some songs in this album. I mean if WBT was some other artist's song, they should've definitely sued her.
I still think Touch My Body is the best, catchiest song on the album. But I'm also loving I'm That Chick! Cruise Control and Side Effects are also really good!
