For those who have no idea who this woman is, she is schapelle corby, an Australian woman who innocently ventured on a trip to Bali, Indonesia.
Upon arrival in Indonesia, she was asked to open her boogie board bag, she happily opened it for the customs officers and was shocked to find there was infact 4.2 kilos of marijauna in the bag. Cut a long story short, she was sentenced to 20 years jail in a filthy disgusting jail cell.
The trial was NOT fair whats so ever, they did not finger print her bag, they wouldn't take CCTV footage from Brisbane airport where she checked in (Too see how much her bag weighed upon checkin) she underwent several lie detector test which she passed but was found to be "irrelevant" in the Indonesian court. Also, another strong point to the case, WHY would someone SMUGGLE 4.2 Kgs of weed into a country where the street price is SO low, it would not be worth the risk of the death penalty.
Anyway, watch this heart breaking video of her sentencing, you can tell she is innocent.
She's guilty. Her family are known drug users in my city.
That said, I don't think she deserved 20 years, or the 9-odd she served.
Thats just a rumour though, and even if her family are drug dealers, that doesn't mean SHE is also a drug dealer? and why would they smuggle weed into Indonesia when they could make so much more money in Australia, without the risk of the death penalty?
I believe she's innocent. I mean didn't she demand that they weight check her bag. She was begging for everything to prove her innocence and simply by the look on her face you can just tell. I do hope all goes well with her parole and she can be free soon.

Exactly! She begged for a lot of things that could have proved her innocence but it didn't work! If it were trailed in Australia she would have been found innocent.
I really think she's innocent, and even if she's not she did NOT deserve 20 (9) years. I feel so sorry for her, she was so unfairly trialled. But like ReginaPhalange said, the whole family seems like a bunch of bogans, and i've always been suspicious of mercedes. But i'm happy that she's finally out of that horrible jail
I'm sick of hearing about her jesus christ she's not the first Australian to be caught smuggling drugs overseas but the media won't shut up about her it's been 9 years now.

Welp, either way, she's out now & if she plays her cards right, could make millions off her story.
She just booked an interview with 7 news for $1-3 million.
