I don't know if it's this way for all states, but in my state you can get up to 25 points off of your test. Some mistakes count as more than one point. If you get over 25 points, you fail and have to retake it at a later date. I was incredibly nervous for my test, and I practiced parallel parking with my mom like 5 times right before the test. I thought it was going pretty well and then we got back and my instructor was like "Well, you barely passed". My heart DROPPED and she explained everything that I did wrong. I got

That was seven points off alone. I don't know what was going through my head at the time but I know it must've been safe to turn. So anyway now I'm known amongst my friends as a ****** ass driver and it's probably a good thing that I don't yet have a car even though I got my license almost a year ago
