The only reason why I want her to do a reggae influenced album is because I feel like she's done everything else already. & its different from anything that is out now on mainstream

- Rih didn't become an international success until GGGB, yeah Im sure everyone knows she's from Barbados but nobody paid attention to her sound on MOTS/AGLM. IMO it will be refreshing and she at a point in her career where she can risk having low sales for the sake of worldwide recognition and acclaim.

I genuinely don't see R8 selling less than 3.5 WW total sales

Rih gained a young, urban girl audience with UA. I'm one of them tbh. A lot of girls my age loved with Lov7 Song and PIU which is why she needs to keep doing urban. Those songs led to a lot of my friends listening to UA and loving it. I'd love it if she performed the first single (reggae-influenced yet still urban and pop radio friendly) at the BET awards. Skin is also really well-known within that demographic, I see it used it on twitter/IG all of the time lol

I say all of this to say, I highly doubt that R8 won't match or exceed UA in the sales department

If any of the pop girls does caribbean music after Rih they will automatically be labeled a copycat. That is her genre and niche to claim!

Well even if it doesn't slay she's sound epic and she will no more be seen as a pop star... But I'm sure ICON can make anything Raggae INFLUENCED slay she sounds so natural and powerful and calm all together I wish she had a solo CRTFY with better lyrics and no rock beat

Well realistically Rih is not going to do just one genre. She'll mix it up as always.
- We're just throwing around ideas to help solidify her ICON status and set her apart from the other girls.

I can't wait for the meltdowns R8 will cause. hopefully it'll be other stanbases and not us
