Yes. Rih has improved and is better at making music, period. There's no way she could've made an album as good as UA a few years ago. It's crazy that she made her 2nd best album in the same amount of time it took her to make Loud and TTT. Hopefully everything she went through with Chris will serve as some sort of inspiration as well.
Now that she's not rushing, I expect R8 to be an even bigger jump in terms of quality. Hopefully she's seen the success of the other girls and is doing everything she can to punch them out. Competition can be a good thing in situations like this

- As long as the songs are introspective and lyrics are somewhat relatable to her life I think the quality will be fine.

The production is where I would be worried, but since she's not rush releasing this time, there should be no reason for things like noisy audio.

Ideally the album would be complete months in advance and Rihanna and her team will run through each song to make any tweaks or changes.
