I recently had an argument with my dad about internet usage and social media. He blamed sites like Facebook for my not knowing what career/college major I want to pursue, saying I should be going out and discovering myself instead of talking to my friends about nonsense all the time. I told him that was a stupid argument because I couldn't rush such a monumental decision and it wasn't like his generation never had fun and only talked about their future plans all the time when they interacted in real life.
