The trick to getting rid of the white box is easy, I recently figured out how:
The Youtube link you copy from the site usually comes as a http SECURE one: "https", with the s at the end.
The s is the problem that makes it not work. Just delete the s from the link before you copypaste it and there won't be a white box. Simple as that.
