The thing with these "official sales" is that there are several ones and none of them includes all of the official national charts. BTD still hasn't sold 5 million that is absolutely correct, but it probably is between 4.3 - 4.5 million copies sold so far. The thing with this album is that it is still selling good for an album being out for 99 weeks and the biggest sales every week for quite some time now come from the US, which is quite ironic after all what has happend.
Gaga will be glad to come even close to 4 million with ARTPOP and she probably won't.
people saying that Gaga won't when The Fame, The Fame Monster and Born This Way have outsold that album.
