The Grammy committee is no stranger to favoritism. No disrespect to Beyonce, but they obviously adore her. Getting recognition and success from the GP, targetting different audiences and constantly branching out and crossing over is a bigger achievement than gettingrecognition from the same never-changing group of old white people.
Kind of an achievement, I never knew this was the kind of people she's most loved by.
Grammys have so many categories so just case a artist wins doesn't mean its that big achievement as a #1 song. When a song is #1 a lot of people talk about it and it means its popular but if you win a Grammy in some irrelevant category not a lot of people know about it.
A smash #1 is Firework, Single Ladies, Bad Romance, Poker Face, We Found Love...not Take A Bow, S&M, Disturbia etc.
And yet We Found Love is bigger than them all with 10 weeks at #1 and #24 on the all time Hot 100.
None of the other songs made the list. That's a true smash #1, and Rihanna has it.
on the other hand most of those grammy's are in categories with no competition....
No competition? Or she just happened to be so far past the competition?
If not, why has Queen of Pop Rihanna not gathered Grammys seeing as she's so far past her peers?
