If it's an active Pokerus, yes, you can pass it to the other members of your party. And I believe Pokerus stays active from 1-3 days, but It'll become un-passable whenever you see a frown face.

Yeah, Pokerus generally becomes un-passable once it goes real time midnight, unless the pokemon is in the PC box.

Pokégen creates the Pokémon. You can then upload the .pkm files to Pokécheck and it 1.) checks the Pokémon for legitimacy signs (ie. valid trainer IDs, legal movesets) and 2.) can send the Pokémon to your game by way of the in-game GTS and their DNS server.

Pokécheck WILL flag your Pokémon with Premier Ribbons, which prevents them from being redistributed through the GTS. However there is another service called PokéGTS that can also send your Pokégens to your game and they will not flag your Pokémon with Premier Ribbons.

It sounds complicated, but basically the process is this: creating your Pokémon on Pokégen, uploading them to Pokécheck to make sure you haven't screwed up, and then sending them to your game via either Pokécheck (if you don't intend on redistributing) or PokéGTS.
