To the French members of ATRL, or anyone who has interest in France, I wonder why P!nk has neither a number one album nor a single there yet (which can somehow translate to being big)? Considering the fact that she smashes in its neighboring countries like Germany, Belgium & Switzerland.
Interestingly, her highest charting albums and songs all peaked at #4:
Funhouse & The Truth About Love peaked at #4
Get the Party Started, So What & Just Give Me a Reason peaked at #4
I guess she doesn't really appeal to the French market...? Nobody really talks about her here.
In addition, it is very difficult for an english speaking artist to top the charts here.
But she's not doing that bad : Funhouse : 235 000 sold TTAL : 180 900 sold
with Just Give Me a Reason : 121 000 sold
France is mostly dance music oriented tbh!
But in Bercy P!nk had one of her biggest surprises this era - probably about half or more of the arena was holding papers saying "We love you, merci" during The Great Escape!
