Why the hell did the Olympics pick Sochi in the first place and wth was all this bull about it can't be moved because stuff was already built and set in stone. It seems Sochi wasn't ready either!
They're not the only hosting country who failed to finish in time and they won't be the last. Athens had to scrapped the roof off its Aquatic center since they were behind schedule while Montreal's Olympic Stadium wasn't completed until a decade after the opening ceremony. Rio will probably have the same problem, but let's hope it doesn't it.
I think the hotels (and possibly some roads) are the only ones behind schedule, whereas the Athletes' village and venues are done.
Maybe if they didn't brutally bash/kill their gays they'd have quality interior designers, maybe they'd have people who care about clean water, maybe they wouldn't have clogged pipes.
