I just feel like an Usher collab would've went smoother. It still would've been controversial because people would've said "*gasp* she's singing that with....Usher...?
" but the R. Kelly collab brought an extra layer of hate to it. Feminists, domestic violence/sexual abuse activists, people from the GP, etc. were criticizing Gaga for working with Kells. Can't help but think that's (a part of) the reason why we never got a DWUW video.
Especially with the new details coming out about RKelly.
