Hi! My name is Organic and I need help with an assignment for school. As a society with different views on life, do you think it is wrong for the parent to allow their daughter of age to be in the **** industry?

My opinion is simple. I would not want her to do it, but I won’t stop her from doing it. I don’t think it is right for me, as a parent, to impose laws that you can’t do this or that. I think that is almost like me saying, “You can’t be a lesbian.”

Mmmm... I agree with your opinion. I don't have much to add. Human beings should be allowed to make their own decisons and no one should stop or control that.

No, it's not their fault… It's not like they pushed her into such an industry. If that's what she wants to do, and if she's of age, then it's her life. Someone has to do it… and if it's a paying job (no matter how unlawful it is), who are they to say "No!"?

i agree with you and everybody that has posted. it's her life. if she wants to do it, i'll let her even though i wouldnt want it.

If you can honestly sit there and let your daughter pursue a career in **** you don't care about her.

I'm not saying that if she does become a ****star, that a parent should stop loving their daughter, but a parent should try their best to lead their kids in the right direction.

With all the diseases out there, ****stars are prone to catch something, so for a parent to support that, then their just as messed up as their kid. But that's just my opinion

I agree with your opinion. I wouldn't stop them from pursuing that career if they are of age. They're old enough to make their own decisions.

I mean, if she's of age there's nothing the parent can really do. But they shouldn't condone it. It's too risky. There is always some news story about how a **** studio had to shut down production because a star contracted HIV. Additionally, since the videos are geared toward a male audience, a lot of the women are handled very roughly during shoots. And who knows what they have to actually do to get the job. Plus, a **** career will follow you the rest of your life. I wouldn't let my kid do it; it's just not a smart move.

Yes because the **** industry isn't exactly a great industry to be in. ****stars, especially women, have to pretend to be having a good time while performing acts that are uncomfortable for them a lot of times, and then the whole world can see it. And then the daughter could potentially get an STD since lots of **** doesn't use condoms. There's more than that, too.

Or at least, make sure the daughter is completely aware of the dangers present in the **** industry.

It would be the daughter's choice. If she's no longer a minor, I wouldn't have any say anyway. All I could do would be to voice my opinion, which would be that doing more isn't a good idea. I don't really have anything against it morally, but having sex with multiple partners can be dangerous, even when it's not being filmed. There's also the fact that the **** industry is obviously very youth-oriented and it's not a career field she could be in for the rest of her life. After her career is career is over, there would obviously be the obstacle of finding someone who wants to hire an ex-****star.

There, you already spelled it out for me. This is my exact opinion on this.

Obviously from all we can know, the **** industry is a very shady business and working in it can get rough and intense on its subjects, and not in a good way. But it's also fact that there are a lot of people working in the industry who seem to be happy with their choice, who have made a good living off it and can easily support themselves.

Also first and foremost, **** is something that of course is always going to exist, anyone who manages to build a career for themselves in this business isn't going to run out of a job anytime soon, as long as they can maintain their looks and appeal to a certain age.


EDIT: However as a parent, I would advice (although not taunt and push) them to get a proper education in SOMETHING somewhere along the way or invest in something that will pay off once they're older, whatever that may be. They probably won't be able to do **** until retirement.

I disagree. I would want the best for my child, and being in the **** industry would be so degrading in my opinion.

It depends if they are of age and out of my house supporting them self then I can't stop em. But under my roof that's a hell no. Plus I would still love my child but I wouldn't push or encourage it. Due to the rampant std's, horror tales of abuse on set, drugs, and LIMITED job opportunities after you finish etc.....

I would be pissed about it... there's plenty of other options out there. If my daughter was in that much of a financial bind, I'd bring her back home so she could get back on track. I wouldn't want my own daughter to be a **** star... that's like one of the biggest shames a father could have
