I love Beyoncé, but her fans are making me get so irritated with everything she does because she's overrated, in my opinion. Her fans and the general public treat her like she's Jesus Christ or something and I don't think they're doing her any justice; they're putting pressure on her and I think that even though she is an icon and future legend, her fans are overrating her so much, that eventually she won't be able to do the unthinkable and meet their unthinkably high expectations. I think they put too much pressure on her and idolize her to the point where people are going to want to shoot themselves if they hear one more thing about her. It's not so much any stan in particular, but in general I think her fan base overall is too defensive of everything she does and expect too much of her.
I loved BEYONCE after she released her eponymous album, and did nothing but praise her for a month. And then I remembered how her fans were, and said **** that.
You must be easily influenced if fans can make you dislike an artist. If it's really about artistry (music, performances, etc…), fans can't make you dislike them. It's always your fault, don't blame it on the others.
I never understood this concept and never will. If I don't like an artist, it's because of something the artist did, not their fans.
Artists cannot control the way their fans act. Just look at Gaga & the Monsters. She "tries" to promote peace and everything amongst her fans and others but they clearly still do otherwise. That's not going to make me not like her.
