I know what the Hot 100's purpose is, but let's remember that its methodology is not always perfect. Dope by Lady Gaga for example didn't deserve to be called a top 10 single, it had a lot of streaming but if the song were really popular it wouldn't have dropped from the charts next week. Gangnam Style by Psy (before streaming) was the most popular song of the country but it never got to number one because stations refused to play it. I just do not agree with the Billboard Hot 100 when I don't hear that many people listening to that song, but, and again I say, that's just me. Perhaps the song is just not that popular where I live.
I'm just saying that I don't agree with Billboard this time, but I definitely believe the song deserved to be a top 10 single.
