It's already been explained. Bey has been strong in streaming for a few weeks now; #1 on YouTube the previous week and top ten on Spotify. The Grammy exposure gave it a boost in streaming where it was already strong + plus a huge increase in sales in addition to the strong Urban radio support.

Because it IS #2. People were predicting between #5-7; the streaming in the US increased dramatically and so did the sales.

I was expecting a 7-9 this week, Its unffair to songs like Say Something or tLak Dirty! I mean but Drunk on love was like 5 dyas at Billboard itunes Top 10!

Congrats to Katy! Queen! And if the streams due to the commercial don't count she's safe until Pharrell (who may get it after the Oscars, perhaps earlier, who knows).

Beyonce is just a much much milder case of Dope or The Fox. Sure, she has been selling well, doing amazing on streaming.....but number 2? Billboard's numbers are correct no doubt but I disagree that it is the second most popular song in the nation.

Still, it deserved to peak inside the top 10 to justify Beyonce not having a top 10 single in so long. I'm waiting for Christina to have a solo lead single in the top 10

Shakira only had 7m US streams. But that's not enough considering she has poor radio airplay and digital sale.
