Oh. Haha. It's hard to read sometimes. But it really is true.. Mark Hamill and Hayden Christianson were not good actors.. at least not in the Star Wars movies. Carrie Fisher and Natalie Portman were decent. Harrison Ford and Ewan McGregor were great.

The second choice for Anakin was Dane DeHaan btw.

I agree. But who even knows if the EU is even canon anymore. I could live without the entire Legacy of the Force mess (Yuuzhan Vong too tbh) but I still like Mara.

I don't mind, he's hot. Also, he's not a bad actor, he was bad in HSM but Disney Channel films never demand an actor studio performance. I'm sure he has improved. It's not like he will sing and dance with a light saber anyway

The Boba Fett premise sounds SO good.

As much as I liked Anakin Solo it would be a mess to put him in the movies. I don't think anyone would be understanding about it. I also didn't like what they ended up doing to Jacen but Jaina was always a cool character.

Zac was really going in Me & Orson Wells and Parkland. Even some parts in his underwear-clad demeaning role where gets peed on by Nicole Kidman in The Paperboy. Jump in and see some decent (not great) acting.

Honestly, I want the characters without the plot that happened in legacy; I want JJ and his team to figure out how to develop these characters in the best way possible.

Interesting - we'll need to see. JJ is making this first movie about the older generation (Luke, Leia, Han) and wrapping up their story (whatever that means) and introducing the next generation as supporting to build them as leading for the later movies.

The old draft treatment had Jacen and Jaina as the lead characters before it was scrapped. I can't really think of who would work for them though? I really think Zac is spot on for Ben though - looks very similar to Mark Hamill in Episode IV.

Star Wars is about introducing new/underground young actors.

No one like Zac high school musical Efron belongs in the new trilogy as one of the main characters. This will be the first bad news I hear about Star Wars if true.
