I am not normally one to defend Selena Gomez but yall are posting about all sorts of drugs she allegedly had a problem with when her rep confirmed it was NOT for substance abuse. I'm not sure how true that is but it is the only story confirmed by her team.

Selena Gomez spent two weeks in a rehab facility which treats young people struggling with “emotional trauma, addiction or dual diagnosis concerns.”
The 21-year-old was admitted to Dawn at The Meadows recovery centre - which treats people aged 18 to 26 years - in Arizona on January 5.
A representative for Selena – who has an off-off relationship with Justin Bieber – confirmed the report but says it was NOT related to substance abuse.
"Selena voluntarily spent time at Meadows but not for substance abuse," her rep said.
I had a feeling that she didn't go there for drug issues. She went to rehab for two weeks. If she had drug problems, I don't think Selena would've stayed for such a brief amount of time.
I'm aware the story seems unlikely but as it was actually confirmed by Selena's rep and isn't blind gossip it is the story people should stick to unless further proof comes out or her team changes their tune.

Because TMZ is more reliable and reps usually lie? Demi's rep said it was for Bulimia and then we found out she was for self-harming, ED, Drugs, Alcohol, Bipolar Disorder, etc
but who knows... I'm glad she got help and she's ok now.

It takes longer than 2 weeks to get over a sleeping pill addiction and going to rehab for pot is just laughable, while people can become psychologically dependent on it, it isn't physically addictive.

But how is going to rehab for emotional trauma not taking personal time? Like maybe Selena and her team didn't want to be hounded while Selena was in treatment or maybe it's all bollocks, I don't know but the story is plausible.

We'll never know until she does an interview until then all we know is that she went to rehab point blank. Anything else is either underplaying the situation by her team like demi or ppl jumping to conclusions to make the story jucier.
Either way she went to rehab without having a public blowout or conflict with anyone and without the public knowing which means her and her family realized how bad it could have gotten and tried to nip it in the bud.
Drug addiction, pills, alcohol, eating disorders - you have to stay at least a month there, up to 3 months.
"rehab programs -- that take 120 to 180 days or longer". You dont get clean for some thing so serious in 2 weeks & get back to normal. If it was that easy, it wouldn't be called a problem.
And to go to rehab, means you're clean head & you know u have some personal problem. Look @ Justin, he hasnt gone to rehab, does it mean he's is all okay...
I find this especially shocking just because Selena always seemed to be the most composed of all the Disney girls, but I'm glad she got the emotional help and hopefully everyone around her have open ears for her, especially Demi.
I mean. It was clear she was having emotional problems during her last radio press tour where she gave off bitch faces and just did not want to be there at all.
I also don't think it had to do with drug addiction because it was only two weeks and she didn't have to involve herself in therapy or an outpatient program, confirmed by E! It is strange that she is closer to Demi than before, but Demi has experience with mental health issues and more.
Y'all need to have a biT of intelligence when it comes to dragging celebs, otherwise you just look foolish.
