Remember when we thought we were going to get a song about her friend that died? I wonder if anything about that would appear on LP5
LP5 will literally be completely about Harry and Conor, which sucks because She's spent the entire Red era maintaining the "single life rocks" image + another album of love songs will completely undo that by reinforcing the "boy crazy girl who can only write about her relationships" image. But then, let's be real, the songs I listen to least are the ones that aren't about love. So it's probably just as well that She keeps writing about love.
And unless She writes about Styles like he's Jesus, the 1D stans will make a mess of things.

She can be a respected artist in 10 years, but not today. But she's at the perfect age to peak commercially, she has a chance, she'll use it. And i'm definitely supporting her decision for now.
She's not like uber-respected, but She is liked by the public. I don't really think the pop songs will make people dislike Her more, unless they're pop haters (country fans) or if the pop songs have the... "youthful jubilee" (immaturity) of WANEGBT and 22.
And I completely understand and agree with the bolded part... But, I mean, Her being popular in different countries is completely irrelevant to me as a fan. The music that She releases is relevant to me as a fan. I don't really like that She has to change Her sound just to be able to sell out an arena tour on another continent. I'll still bop to the Max Martin songs, but I won't be as a happy as I'd be without them.
I actually liked all the pop songs on Red. In saying that however, having a whole album of that, even 50%, would just be a biT tew much. Taylor's serving us her KISS

Girl, I don't feel enough of sincerity in Her MM tracks routines. There's a reason why Taylor Swift was able to be such a major player without MM. There's uniqueness that can't be described, something that made Her endearing to a lot of the stans pre-MM, the ones who actually bought Her albums, supported Her all the way through, and grew with Her.
that's what makes her so different from Rih, Katy and gaga. she's to talented to be seen as just another pop star
Off Topic: but @TroubleSwift, just yesterday in class my friend was telling me about when he went on the Dark Web and stuff, and how he clicked on links that showed really ****ed up things. It was really interesting how your thread was created just after i had heard about that stuff for the first time. But that story in it, **** my life
Soz ppl, I just doesn't have any sense of humour today. Too much ***** happened already in one day.
God help me if we're getting mophead tunes. I think I will sit out this next album. It'd feel so weird not to buy a Taylor album.
Btw, if the fans could push the ATW at Scammys to happen, can we do it one more time?

To be honest with you, I'm citizen of a third world country. But despite Her being unknown, I really could care less about Her global success and commercial success. I'd rather Her stick to Her guns rather than cashing in for what it's worth. And why change to be something that is not Her just to appeal to people? Then when the people who only liked those stuffs, listened to the whole album, which turned out to be entirely different that what they're expecting and not liking it, then.... what's the point? And that, my friend, is definition of a fraudulent.
She wants longevity and respect real bad. Those stuffs are not instant. You have to build it brick by brick. You have to earn it. Showcase your talent and your best efforts to people from time to time, you can't expect anyone to be stans who listen to everything you release anyway. For the hit songs, just hope that one of those stuffs you promote will stick to the wall. Don't make stuffs just to sell a lot. So if She doesn't start now, then when? Does She think/want people suddenly coming to just because She's been here for a long time? It just doesn't work like that. And She totally can afford to show-off Her best tunes even if that means She's taking the long path to that stratospheric number. I mean, isn't releasing Her best singles basically how She made it to be big? This one formula is the one She should just stick with. Change other stuffs. But remember when the stans love Her at the first place.
Btw Taylor slayed Breakeven And that broke my heart even more knowing that she's gonna do more pop songs when she could totally be doing pop rock/whatever masterpieces

The whole album can be produced by Dr. Luke and feature Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber As long as her hair/makeup/style isnt like this THe vogue shoot gave me so many high hopes only to be dashed by those thick ass bangs, dead hair, caked on clown makeup and grandma chic
I was just thinking only Taylor can work her lyrics. I mean only she can sell/sing it and it's sincere and believable. if u make other artists sing lyrics with "refrigerator light", "football helmet", "elevator buttons", "dutchess & prince" etc. They will sound ridiculously awful but when she sings it... It's endearing.
I want that country/bluegrass/rock album desperately but she can do those kind of albums in her 30/40s so I actually, personally don't mind MM.
BUT I hope there'll be no more rip-off from his past works like 22-Dancing Crazy.
If LP5 has some PRISM leftover I will jump ship But like what I said when WANEGBT got released, we all know Taylor will never disappoint us.
I wonder if the thing she waited for in January was the reaction of country block voters at the Grammy's. Getting 0 love giving her the green light to go full pop in her mind figuring the days of country bumpkin sweetheart are over.
But what kind of Katy-Perry-Thinking-She's-Joni-Mitchell-Junior mess is She turning to be?

And girls stop worrying about the MM/Shellback songs. They will probably only constitute like half the album. Still plenty of space on the tracklist for the Zedd tunes and Ed Sheeran collabs.
