That was years ago. Rihanna has completely changed urban radio since then. I think (like with pop radio) Rihanna has effectively removed the need for Beyonce to be played.

I really wonder how things would've turned out had 4 been different. It had NO hits whatsoever. Nothing even remotely GP friendly. Love On Top had a vintage feel that appealed to R&B fans but not enough modern elements to do well on pop radio. It was a well-crafted album but a total misstep. It took her awhile to find her stride without Matthew... it kind of flopped despite her strong fanbase and hype machine. A legendary mess.
