First of all, Idol is giving the money to different organizations around the world, not just Africa.

Secondly you ask, why do they always show the people in Africa? That is a simple answer really. It is because they are the most worse off people in the world. Remember when you saw those American people living in those run down houses where Miley Cyrus visited. Well people in Africa would kill to live somewhere like that.

Also (not directed at the person I quoted), no one has any right to call this show a flop. It shows that you don't care about children dying around the world among other things as well.

Fergie KILLED it! I only caught some of it, and her performance(s) was the only part that I really payed attention to. I LMAO when she did the one hand cartwheel during the 2nd song. Fergie was energetic and on fire last night.
