It's fair enough that you would want to expose reality as it is to your own children, however the show is merely reflecting society's complex. It's fact; adults are more sensitive about homosexuality than children, it's not that serious.

No it's not doing too much actually. There are gay couples with children so in fact all they are doing is showing the world in a real light. Not the ignorant closed minded expectation of what a family is and should be.
