While researching Greek gods for a project at age 11 I came across a photo of a Poseidon statue something like this:


And I just immediately recognized I found it attractive and said to myself, "Well, that means I'm gay."

All of this was thoroughly confirmed a few weeks later when more research for this project turned up the Google hit "Modern Gay Greek Gods."

"How can there be modern Greek gods?" I wondered. "And how would people know they were gay?" (I was already quite drawn to the queer sexualities of the deities in much of the Greek mythology by that point.)

But of course it was a **** site when I clicked on it and the rest is history.

When i was 12 or 13, which was the same year Gaga had her debut... coincidence?

Maybe when I was like 7ish

I can't remember, I was young, not even 10.

Freshman year of HS, after some disastrous sexual experiences with girls. There were clues earlier though. My mom was a HS Dean when I was little, and I used to go to the HS basketball games with her. There was a guy on the team who I couldn't stop watching for some reason and he made me feel uncomfortable. I remember asking my mom if it was okay to think other guys were handsome.

My childhood was sexualised, too.

I was around 5 years old when I used to kiss my childhood best friend in his own room, we would tell his parents that we were sharing secrets ( ..of tongues!). Then there was another boy that I would secretly kiss. Ever since that I have emigrated and have accepted myself.

He has a girlfriend now, and we have each other on FB, but I don't know exactly how to approach him. He's handsome

I honestly can't remember not being gay. I used to have some recurring dreams about having sex with an older guy (keep in mind, this is my 5 year old dreams) which leads me to believe I was maybe raped. I don't know, it's weird since I didn't see my first ****/naked person until 2nd grade.

Now admitting and understanding what being 'gay' actually meant happened in 6th grade. The first time I came out to anyone was in 2008 but I didn't officially come out until the 12th of January of this year.

When I was a little kid I had this huge obsession crush thing on my neighbor (he's like 65 now he was like 40 something at the time) and in 5th grade I remember my gym teacher wore a tank top and I kept checking him out
