For the amount of work she put into the album it damn well did deserve to smash. All versions added up, the album is 31 tracks long. 31 full length, high quality tracks.

I don't think Ellie will ever have a smash album in the USA, at least not without a truly massive lead single leading up to the album release (none of these slow burners like Lights/Burn)

She'll remain selling a moderate amount of albums + smashing in the UK tho.
