The way the spirit box works is by sweeping radio frecuencies which sounds like a bunch of distorted mess that ghost can use to speak through. I just watched the first video and its beyond creepy.
It reminds me of this one episode on Ghost Adventures where they used a spirit box in the house of the actual exocercist story and all these different voices coming through saying "demon, diablo, devil".
