I think it's smart of her not to go with a Witch theme (even though it would have probably slayed everyone) because people would compare it to Wide Awake and Katy always has different and unique music videos.

I don't know, I could see it smashing hard on pop radio and snatching 2 weeks at #1, provided the competition is weak enough. It would have minimal multi-format appeal but it would go hard in the areas it applies to.
"This is How We Do" could also be a viable option, I left that out - but I see "Birthday" and "Legendary Lovers" being the biggest smashes left. I could easily see both pulling huge radio and sales numbers, great streaming, and multiple weeks at #1, if handled properly.

Didn't she perform WOA on SNL and it had barely any impact on its sales? Yep, she should definitely avoid releasing it as an official single imo. An European single would be an amazing idea though.

I wouldn't count it out because of that alone, but that could be a cute idea - WoA as the next European single, with TIHWD or Birthday in NA & Australia (because LL is too good to delegate to a few areas).

Exactly! TIHWD for the U.S and WOA for Europe. The last 2 singles should be ballads to prepare people for her next album. Uncle was just considered a terrible song. Go look up any coverage of the song (be it a live performance or music video) on dailymail, most people are saying it's a terrible song and that she's past her peak. I bet Spiritual would be well received. Same with By The Grace Of God.

If we're making the last 2 singles ballads then I kinda want three more in between DH and those ballads, because I need her to rack up them #1's.
But really, if LL turns into this era's HH, I may cry.

She said it's going to be released as a single, that's why I didn't mention it. As for ballads, she's honestly had enough #1 hits already. She doesn't have to keep chasing them.

She doesn't need to chase them, no - but it would always be nice to get them and you know Capitol will push for them if they can.
Then again I'm one of those people who honestly thought that TOTGA would go #1, too, so

The video is extremely interesting... cuz I knew it was snippets of a few audio/video and I knew what could be clearly made out... "so cold, this is how..." Oh... definitely Ghost with "so cold"... and likely "this is how we do." Yes, different than PRISM album versions, but this was one of the first, if not the first, time she sat down to work on PRISM. It was acoustic and very very early on...
I'll have to re-read the Vogue interview... I barely remember it but ya, would be fancy to figure out-ish what that one song was the interviewer was played...

Omg I'd rather them not release any remix or discount than her getting more #1 hits. If a song is meant to be #1, it'll be obvious. It wouldn't hurt if she bothered to promote more while she's touring. It was so annoying seeing her go to award shows during fall 2011 only to sit down and receive whatever she won instead of promote her current single (VMA 2011 )

I was actually all for the discounts and remixes, and bought all of them ( ), but I totally agree. Less chart games, more promo!

Exactly. This is evident with Dark Horse. I hope Capitol doesn't do anything like they did last era with the singles, although I do bop to the Last Friday Night remix once in a while

The dance one is the third here. So the first one was nothing new i didn't know and what aboud the second one? it sound like katy
About the video I think this could be Ghost or even Legendary Lovers. Bonnie said in a interview that she and Katy worked toghether on 4 song and she didn't know if all of them would make the album, and they do (Ghos, LL, Roar, Birthday). Also This is How We Do is Alund produced. Hope it gets clarified

You guys the "baby if you love me, you gotta show me love" is actually a 90s dance song that was a top ten hit. It's called Show Me Love by Robin S

I feel bad but I'm ready for new music I still listen to all of PRISM*, but I would love a couple leaks or something of the songs Katy didn't use.
* - except International Bile

Pretty sure the dance one was proven to be a small part of another song, that wasn't Katy.
Unless LL got a lyric change, it cant be LL (vocally) in the video. Katy DEF says "this is how" not "this is the"...
Not sure what is said at the very end of the video. "...you think" lol.. it's not clear enough for me to be sure of anything at this point...
She went to Sweden with a lot done... we can't be saying "since blah blah was produced in Sweden, it never ever existed in any shape or form before that moment".... right? IMO, lol.
Also, when did Bonnie say the 4 songs? That was late 2012 or... ? Are we certain she never worked with Bonnie AFTER she said that? Perhaps she did other songs with Katy... Katy said she did about 26 songs...
Sorry, I'm a fried bean and I think very logically... every detail needs to make sense, from all angles, lol!

The analysis Pretty sure not even Katy put that much thought into the lyrics.
