I think a lot of her vocals changing from TF to TFM has to do with her stopping the drugs, and learning better technique.

Listen to this performance of Paparazzi, where she had to lower the key a whole step and still sounded like she was struggling to reach the high notes in the chorus (Those high notes are only C#5s)

Then listen to this one later that year. Original key, her voice sounded very clear, and she was nailing the high notes in the chorus with ease (which were Eb5s)

Also, compare how she sounds on the studio recording of Bad Romance, to one of the performances of it from when she was promoting it. She sounded so rough and gritty on the C5s at the end of the bridge in the studio version, and it sounded like nothing when she was doing it live.

1. Opening synths of Just Dance and her singing the chorus off stage
2. Poker Face, then Bad Romance
3. half of Born This Way
4. Whatever single she's doing if she has a new album by now
5. Applause

No way. It's the superbowl, she needs to have super-duper theatrics but one portion of it could really well contrast that by being stripped down. It'd be considered boring if she just did an acoustic set. SB = spectacle. Though I like the set list.

Idk I feel like she would use the shock factor to the extreme at the SB

Wait, what about Telephone, and a surprise appearance by Beyonce.

The ratings would SKYROCKET if Beyonce showed up to do Telephone with her.

And the Super Bowl doesn't always have to be some big production, Madonna and Beyoncé just made it like that. All of my favorite halftime performances have been a mostly "plain" stage featuring some really great vocals

As far as I know, everyone has a guest so it wouldn't really matter. I'd just love to see her perform for the halftime show one time and not make an ass of herself.

Right though? She'd "strangle" herself on stage or something before the show ends.

Ending anything with The Edge of Glory is a surefire way of getting the general public's approval. I wouldn't mind if she started out with Marry The Night either - lord knows she needs those sales.
