Damn 19k votes already with Britney Spears having 7k. I'd love if they picked her honestly. She has enough hits to do it.
For the sake of the Britney that performed in 2001, I'm glad she'd never do it. I love Brit, but I hate that her greatness keeps being diluted by her current mediocrity.
Bon Jovi is the most obvious choice from the list, but Gaga certainly has a bigger potential than most on it.

Gaga's mediocrity is greatly because of the things she chooses to do, where as Britney has and still is suffering mental illness and stuff. It's more of a battle for Britney than for Gaga. It'd be nice to see her and Bon Jovi together to be honest, you know how they love to pair rock acts with Pop acts.

Wow wait a minute - I never implied Gaga was giving mediocre performances at all. I don't think a lot of what she's doing is - I love Applause and DWUW, and ARTPOP the album, and a lot of the performances she's given for it (back in the day ). Gaga hitting a rough spot lately isn't mediocrity, it happens. Britney had a breakdown, and she's a shell of who she was who doesn't want this life anymore. I hope she's allowed retire after Vegas because she clearly wants out.
I mean Swinefest >>>>>>>>>> most BTW performances. Gagz can still deliver, she just... is deciding not to take any orders lately.
I think she was always just faking her voice tbh--I mean she DEFINITELY was in interviews. It's almost cringeworthy now when you watch old ones and she talks in that fake voice And when she laughs she accidentally breaks into her real voice.
Faking (or just processing it a lot) her singing voice doesn't seem like much of a stretch. I remember being shocked by her "new" studio voice when Bad Romance came out (in a good way)

She was definitely putting on an act for a good bit of The Fame era. It's so weird and I don't get it
Compare this
to this, on the same show, a few months later
It's like at the very beginning of the era, she was a cool laid back chick, and then she became this odd, distant, baby voiced person
I had never seen any of her interviews before she started doing that, so those were the first ones I had ever seen from Gaga and I was so turned off Then she won me over with Paparazzi at the VMA's and I saw a few more normal/real interviews.
Also in some of her Fame era interviews, she showed kind of a bitchy side

they'd forever drag her for not "being able" to pull of a SB half time show on her own
What kinda set list would you guys want if she ever does the Super Bowl? Assuming she has no other big hits until then () I think:
1. Just Dance or Poker Face intro
2. Born This Way (I think she would really want to include it)
3. Applause
4. new single
5. Bad Romance
6. The Edge of Glory
Very minimal set design/production, just Gaga and her beautiful voice. Maybe a piano duet with Elton or some other legend.
