The album title of Vanessa Hudgens' sophomore effort is ...
Album title revealed.
It's now been officially confirmed that the album title of Vanessa's sophomore effort will be:
Identified 
Identified hits stores in the U.S. June 24th and in Brazil July 8th. What do yall think of the title?

1st single is titled "SNeakernight not SPeakernight.
There was a big mix up as some sites were reporting Vanessa's 1st single was titled "Sneakernight" while others were reporting it was "Speakernight".
We can now officially confirm the title of the song is infact "Sneakernight". The single is still premiering on April 11th.
(I'm assuming the song will be about putting high heels to the side and wearing sneakers for the night ... Personally I perfer "Speakernight" as a song title) :-/
Also for those who didn't see my post before Vanessa's sophomore album will be released in Brazil on July 8th (a week after the U.S. release) and the single "Sneakernight" will be released there in May.
And the rumored album title is 'Identified'.
And finally one more tour date has been announced. Vanessa will be performing at the Wisconsin state fair on August 5th and Corbin Bleu will open for her.
Here are the announced tour dates:
August 2nd - Lousiana Blue Bayou/Dixie Landin’ Park
August 5th - Wisconsin State Fair (with Corbin Bleu)
August 10th - State Fair of West Virginia (Jordan Pruitt will open for her)
August 15th - Freedom Hall, Louisville, KY
August 23rd - Oregon State Fair
August 27th - New York State Fair (with Jordan Pruitt, Drew Seeley, & Corbin Bleu)
1st single "Speakernight" premieres Friday, April 11th!
The 1st single off of Vanessa Hudgens' sophomore album is titled "Speakernight" and will premiere next Friday April 11th!!!
Vanessa's sophomore album drops June 24th, 2008.

The Asian Excellence Awards is an annual celebration of the outstanding achievements of Asians and Asian Americans in film, television, music, and the performing arts. This year’s show, hosted by Carrie Ann Inaba and Bobby Lee, will reach a broad national televised audience with the premiere on E! Entertainment on May 1 at 6 p.m. ET/PT. The show will also be available on Comcast On Demand throughout the month of May in honor of Asian Pacific American Heritage Month.
Its unknown if Vanessa will be making an appearance.

Idol alums Eliott Yamin and Fantasia have also signed on.
Earlier this month, Fox rolled out the guest star big guns, unveiling the first batch of A-list supporters to lend their celebrity to the worthy episode. Brad Pitt, Bono, Reese Witherspoon, Miley Cyrus, Mariah Carey, Annie Lennox, Snoop Dogg, Fergie, John Legend, Carrie Underwood and Chris Daughtry were revealed as participants.
Last year's inaugural event raised more than $76 million for a variety of charities at home and abroad, all of which benefit underprivileged and poverty-stricken children.
"Idol Gives Back" airs April 9.

I don't like the title, it sounds kindaaa corny. Unless it's just named after a song in the tracklist then that'd be okay. Im just really not liking the titles for the stuff from this era, im hopiing nothing dissapoints. 4days..

I like the name, it's something unexpected, it does ****ing not sound corny afterglow  It sounds sophisticated, just thought I'd say that her, Ashley Tisdale and Miley Cyrus were in the UK papers today, and they were talking about the new album, so there is a lot of buzz going on about the new album in the UK  So glad, 3 Days til' the single drops

Good news about the UK buzz. Her record company mentioned that they were going to promote her in the UK so this is good. I hope she gets a charting single/album over there. Her last album/single didn't do too good over in the UK. I would have thought "Come Back to Me" would have done fairly well on the charts considering that it charted in several European countries and was on the Euro charts for a few weeks.
Her worldwide sales should be better though. Her ads for Neutrogena and Ecko have been running over in Europe so that should help her name recognition and album sales over there.
