This is just another compilation album. I can see it doing 120k at best, but it's not a studio album...

Her sophomore album is coming out on July 22, 2008. It'll be her first release not associated with HM. I'm interested in seeing how that does.

1) Record sales are declining.
2) She has had two flop singles on US radio with this album. She needs a radio hit to remind the casual fans that she has an album coming out.
3) She seems more interested in spending time with Pete than promoting her album.
4) The fact that her singles aren't charting one the Hot 100...even with downloads. Several artists have songs that do terrible on radio but do great on downloads and end up charting. Downloads are an indicator of how pumped your fanbase is. And her fanbase doesn't seemed very pumped.

I agree on all accounts. The main thing though is that she hardly has any hype for her album, & the records sales declining. I happen to like LMO & the clip of "Ragdoll" so I don't see why her rude fans are replying like I just bashed her horribly.

What a ridiculous, irrelevant comment. Funny how at least Hilary's last single "Stranger" managed to debut on the Hot 100 at #97, while OMH couldn't even beat that? (This coming from an artist that had a huge download following with "Boyfriend" her first single, from her previous album?)

Don't forget that not only is she going up against Mariah, but Madonna too.... if people see an Ashlee album on the shelf and a Madonna album on the shelf, Madonna will kill the competition... plus, other than fans & people who pay real close attention to music (like all of us lol), who actually is aware that she has a new album coming out? Outta My Head flopped, Little Miss Obsessive doesn't even have a video to promote it; whereas Mariah & Madonna's records are getting mass promotion & will destroy her in sales... i feel sorry that she's gonna flop... first week predictions.... 25-30k, 50k if she's lucky.

I am saying singles don't matter. It's not like Ashlee has any huge radio singles. People don't care about singles. People care about albums. The only place Ashlee has had any success is on TRL and now that TRL is irrelevant Ashlee has no where to go. I don't remember ever hearing any Ashlee singles on any radio stations during her last album.

Single success doesn't mean crap. Ashlee's fans will get her 150,000-200,000 in sales easy.

You're wrong. Autobiography had "Pieces of Me" and the promo, I Am Me had the promo / downloads for all "Boyfriend", "LOVE", and "Invisible", even though it didn't really support the album. Anyways singles isn't all about radio, Peter. "Boyfriend" and "LOVE" were moderate hits on radio, but were huge on iTunes. Because fans were buying the singles in support.

So seeing "Outta My Head" and "Little Miss Obsessive" bomb not only on radio, but also in downloads, shows that she's not getting support. You don't understand it. You're completely ignoring the fact that she's flopping on iTunes which is the top place to show whether you're gonna be successful, and there are many examples to show.

"LMO" can't go to waste. Who does she think she is not promoting? Britney? She better get her ass on the promo trail BEFORE the album, not during. Its really dumb. I mean promoting the week of her album, doesn't the label know it'll be Mariah's second week numbers still matter? I mean I'm sure that'll fall hard like every other album in the 2nd week, but it'll still be a big number.
