Shakira writes pretty much all of her songs; most of them all on her own. Yet, I don't really see her getting much recognition for it. Especially since English it's not her native language, she still manages to excel in the songwriting department? Do you think she's an underrated songwriter?

Her writing on Dónde Están Los Ladrones?, Laundry Service and Oral Fixation is all great
The fact that she can write amazingly in both spanish and english is truly incredible
